How to Install — 5 Steps

1. Measure your wall span and select the correct kit width and color.
2. Mark your mount locations on the wall at the correct height and spacing.
3. Drill into the wall using the included masonry drill bit and install the wall mounts.
4. Slide the Lock Rod™ assembly through the bottom hem of your shade panel.
5. Tension the system for a taut, wind-resistant hold. Done.

What’s the difference between the Wall Lock™ Complete System and the ShadeLock™ Wall Mount?
The Wall Lock™ Complete System is the all-in-one kit — it includes the wall mounts AND the full Lock Rod™ conversion hardware. The ShadeLock™ Wall Mount is the bracket only, for customers who already own ShadeLock™ conversion hardware and just need the wall attachment point.

Does this work on stucco?
Yes. The included masonry drill bit is designed for stucco, block, and concrete walls. Follow the included instructions for proper anchor depth.

Do I need to buy a shade separately?
Yes — this kit converts your existing roller shade. Most standard big-box roller shades are compatible. Contact us if you’re unsure about your shade.

Is the installation permanent?
The wall mounts are permanently anchored, but the shade panel and Lock Rod™ assembly can be removed seasonally if needed.

Will it hold in Arizona wind?
Yes. The tensioned Lock Rod™ system significantly reduces wind shock and shade flapping. Engineered for Arizona monsoon conditions.
