ShadeLock™ Limited Warranty

Quick Crank LLC warrants ShadeLock™ hardware components to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use for one (1) year from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies to ShadeLock™ manufactured hardware, including galvanized steel tubes, stainless steel locking components, couplers, and related hardware supplied by Quick Crank LLC.

What Is Covered

  • Manufacturing defects in ShadeLock™ hardware
  • Defects in materials
  • Defects in workmanship
  • Hardware failure under normal intended use

What Is Not Covered

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage
  • Improper installation
  • Improper use or misuse
  • Damage caused by accidents, abuse, or neglect
  • Damage resulting from severe weather, storms, wind events, acts of nature, or other environmental conditions
  • Damage to customer-supplied shades, fabrics, roller systems, structures, fences, walls, or mounting surfaces
  • Corrosion resulting from chemical exposure, saltwater environments, or improper maintenance
  • Modifications made to ShadeLock™ components by anyone other than Quick Crank LLC

Customer-Supplied Shades

ShadeLock™ is an upgrade system designed to work with many existing shades. Because Quick Crank LLC does not manufacture or control customer-supplied shades, fabrics, roller mechanisms, or mounting systems, no warranty is provided on those products.

Warranty Remedy

If a covered defect is found during the warranty period, Quick Crank LLC may, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the defective component
  • Replace the defective component
  • Issue a store credit for the defective component

Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

Limitation of Liability

Quick Crank LLC shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including property damage, loss of use, loss of profits, or personal injury arising from the use or inability to use the ShadeLock™ system.
